Music composed for ‘Knives in Hens’ by David Harrower (L’Arche Editeur), directed by David Gauchard and featuring Emmanuelle Hiron, Vincent Mourlon, Adrien Ledoux, David Moreau, Robert Le Magnifique, Nicolas Petisoff, Christophe Rouffy, Christophe Delaugeas, Agathe Jeanneau & Pierre Ménasché.
Attentive and curious to other artistic languages, Olivier Mellano and the Quatuor Debussy are delighted to take part in multidisciplinary projects. Robert Le Magnifique and David Gauchard first invited them to perform on the album ‘Hamlet / thème & variations’ (idwet label, May 2007). They naturally asked them to join them in creating the two pieces that make up this album.

The Théâtre de la Renaissance in Oullins hosted the Debussy String Quartet’s recording session in February 2007. The Théâtre du Cloître scène conventionnée de Bellac hosted Olivier Mellano’s recording session in March 2008.
