The fantastic world of Tim Burton

Do you know why all generations love Tim Burton’s monsters so much? Because these creatures, all figments of the genius video director’s imagination, are often the most moving characters in the stories in which they participate, often in spite of themselves, but also because it’s often the people around them who are actually the villains. In this unique creation, the members of the Debussy String Quartet will transport you into a magical, spellbinding world where the magic of the cinema of this two-time Oscar-winning director meets the virtuosity of the music of his favourite composer, the multi award-winning Danny Elfman. For this unique program, the four musicians will be accompanied on stage by a teenage choir, adding a touch of wonder to what is already an incomparable musical experience. Together, they will explore the fascinating worlds of The Nightmare Before Christmas, Alice in Wonderland, Corpse Bride, Edward Scissorhands and much more, through exceptional arrangements specially created for string quartet and choir. A concert that promises to be one of the highlights of the season.
