A double anniversary!
In 2024 and 2025, let’s celebrate the birth of two major figures in French music: the master Gabriel Fauré and his student Maurice Ravel! These two 19th-century French composers studied in Paris, where they composed their greatest works and climbed the musical ladder to the distinction of grand masters.
Their compositions will live on in our memories for all our sakes. The Debussy String Quartet will be performing their works with the utmost care to take the audience on a journey through time. The Quatuor wishes to highlight the legacy of this musical past. This double anniversary is also an opportunity to highlight the album Ravel/Fauré, Quatuors recorded by the Debussy String Quartet 20 years ago. The musicians will be immersed in happy memories that they will share with the audience.
