There’s no stopping the Debussy String Quartet, who are now offering us the complete string quartets of Béla Bartók! The six quartets that make up this masterly work span Bartók’s life, but they are also formidable witnesses to the tragic events that shook Europe in the last century. Echoing a life, a stylistic evolution but also an era, this complete work is one of the greatest masterpieces of the twentieth century.
