Immersive concert

What if listening to a string quartet was like crossing a soundscape rather than contemplating it from afar ? With this immersive concert, the Debussy(s) invite the audience to leave its traditional place in order to live the music from within. No stage, no rows : artists and listeners share a same space, a same breath. We walk, we sit, we get closer. Music all around us, in an intimate relation with body, sound and movement.

The audience thus becomes actor of their listening experience. Each composes their own point of view, their own attention path : one step towards the violin, a breath near the cello, a suspended vibration. The quartet spatialization transforms the perception : voices move, cross, overlay. We do not hear music « in front » anymore, but within its invisible architecture.

This immersive concert offers to redefine the place of the audience in the concert ritual. By abolishing the frontal distance, the Debussy String Quartet reinvent an active, sensitive, almost tactile listening. The listener does not watch a concert anymore : they live it, as close to the vibrations, breaths, and silences as can be. Each representation becomes a singular moment, reliant on the place, on the movement of the bodys and on the share attention.
